The title may be somewhat misleading, for the beginning is not with my beloved tarot deck, but with this blog created to deliciously enjoy it.I've been the proud owner of my Victorian Romantic Gold and Standard decks for a long time now and the pull towards them enshrouds me. I used to read about tarotists using only one deck and often wondered why they never seemed to tire of it. Now I know. Similarly, I've read posts (and still do) about hapless readers who still search for THE ONE deck that they'll want to use forever and ever. I never thought I would find one. In truth, because of this, I never consciously looked but I happened across this gem and have never looked back since.So, I'll be reading and studying with my ultimate favourite deck - and okay, from time to time I may let another slightly less favourite sneak in - sshhh...Don't tell my VR!
I chose The Magician here because it's my favourite card, full of potential to go forward to great things and it's also my beloved husband's life card.
I think I have found "my" deck too. The UW. But now I'm doing reflections and readings with the Alchemical - and that could certainly be a favorite, I must say. But I also like the VR - just never used it readings - yet.
