Anytime now, I’m expecting news of an interview for a job that I will start around March, hopefully.
I decided to see what my cards had to say about it.
I drew:
Temperance
The Lovers
The Fool
My first thought was of course that I have three Majors here. That tells me the importance of it. Strangely, since starting my blog, I’ve only drawn one card that hasn’t been a Major. Hmmm…
Anyway, I digress…On to my reading.
This particular Temperance looks to be hovering over the side of a boat, with just one foot showing. She is holding out her right hand with the palm down, as if appealing for calm. If that is so, her wish has been granted. It’s a very tranquil card. I believe the message to me is simple, it will happen, be patient for now.
The Lovers
There are two Lovers cards in the VR, and I leave both of them in. This one is the mermaid with her human lover. Another card depicting water.
I’ve now got a few different thoughts running through my head, all credible.
First, there are changes here. The lovers themselves are from different worlds, and the new job will be a totally different world to me. Regarding the water, I’m thinking now that I should be at ease because the cards are saying that I’ll not be in too deep – Temperance - well – I can’t even see the water touching her and the mermaid is in full control with the water reaching her thighs.
Also with The Lovers, there are the facts that a) it’s a different path to take and b) – may be wishful thinking but I might end up actually loving my job!
The Fool
Now this is one card that I don’t like the portrayal of in this deck. I don’t like the striped attire, I don’t like the facial make-up and I don’t like the wig with horns.
Having said all that, I do think the card is very appropriate for this reading.
I’ll be doing the same job (just a cleaner, by the way) but I’ll be working in a much bigger place in probably a lot stricter environment than I’ve been used to. Not that that matters a bit to me, but I see this Fool performing for his audience, and I know that people will be taking notice of how the work’s being done for a while.
In short, I like the reading. I have to be patient. I know the building isn’t finished yet, it was originally earmarked for the new staff to start in December last year, now we’re told March. A friend who works for the Police in a different setting tells me to be patient, I’ll hear from them when they’re ready.
The Lovers alleviates my fears, Should I get the job, I think I’m going to enjoy my new workplace and fit in well.

Such a beautiful deck, I feel exactley the same way about the fool! However, VR's Temperance is my most favourite temperance, very serene. Fingers crossed for the job :)
